The Challenge
The founder of Bishop Associates, Rob Bishop, was making a break from his recruitment agency job to form his own recruitment business. He came to Marketelements in need of a brand, collateral and a website.
What We Did
We consulted closely with Rob to gain an understanding of his unique business approach. This flowed through to the development of his brand personality and the the style and tone of copy in the website.
First we developed a brand that Bishop Associates felt was unique in the marketplace and were delighted with. With the main element of the brand in place, the logo, we were able to produce business cards with quirky messaging that is intriguing and serves to differentiate the brand from their competitors.
Moving on to the website, our team designed and built the platform from scratch, seamlessly incorporating specific features requested by Rob. The first challenge was to incorporate on the home page a tilt-shift video of the Christchurch CBD - the hub of Rob's recruitment market. Using this 'miniature people and buildings effect', the video gave the homepage an engaging offbeat look which allowed it to stand apart. We were careful to create all copy and content in Bishop Associates' unique style, reinforcing their brand attributes. The final challenge was embedding the recruitment software in the website which presents visitors with a real time jobs feed. The site was also built with an easy to use CMS so the owner can manage content changes without engaging a developer or technician.
What We Achieved
We worked with Bishop Associates to give them a brand they love and that sets them apart. We also provided a website that works hard for their business in a highly competitive industry.
Rob has since returned to Marketelements for branding and websites for organisations related to Bishop associates.
